Devi Bhava - Please refer to FAQ's for a detailed explanation of Devi Bhava. Meeting Amma All programs [Morning - individual blessings by Amma. Evening - Devotional singing followed by individual blessings] are free and open to public. Those who wish to get individual blessings from Amma are requested to see our volunteers as you come to the program hall to obtain token numbers. Tokens are required to get in line to meet Amma. There is no advance reservation of token numbers. Rooms at the Westin, Lombard A block of rooms has been set aside at special group rate for Amma's program attendees on July 4,5 and 6, 2008 at the Westin, Lombard. CUT-OFF DATEThe “cut-off date” for accepting reservations for this block of guest rooms is 5 pm CST on June 19, 2008 or earlier if the blocked off rooms are fully taken. Regular hotel room rates will apply for requests for reservation received after the "cutoff. HOTEL ROOM RATES
Additional rollaway beds, over standard hotel inventory, will be at a $20 charge per night, based on availability. All guest room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, currently 11%. Hotel will offer the special group rates 2 days prior and 2 days after the program dates, subject to availability of guest rooms at the time of reservation. CHARGES FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES Hotel provides a variety of facilities and services not specifically described in this Contract, which are available to groups and individuals at additional charge. A list of Hotel's current pricing for these facilities and services is available to individual guests upon request. Prices are subject to change. RESERVATION PROCEDURE Individual Call In Attendees may call the hotel's toll free number at 888-627-9031 for room reservations and ask for M. A. Center or “Amma” group rate. Reservations must be guaranteed by one night’s deposit (room and tax) on a major credit card. EARLY DEPARTURE FEE In the event, a guest who has reserved a guest room at the special group rate checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, an early departure fee of 50% of the guest room rate will be charged to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise Hotel at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. Hotel will inform guests using the special group rate of this fee upon check-in. LATE DEPARTURE Check-out time is 12:00pm on the day of departure. As the Group events continue into the early morning hours on the departure date, Hotel will honor a Group Late Departure time of 1:00p.m. In the event you would like to stay in your room after that time, a late departure fee will be assessed the individual’s credit card (currently this fee is $50.00). INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION Any individual cancellations received after 4:00pm the day prior to the scheduled arrival date will result in Hotel charging the first night’s room and tax to the individual’s credit card. ROOM AND RELATED CHARGES Guests shall be responsible for their own guest room, taxes, service and incidental charges upon checkout. GUEST ROOM DEPOSIT A deposit equal to, one night’s stay, is required to hold each guest’s reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the dates indicated, and, upon check-in, shall be applied to the final night of the reserved stay. These deposits paid by individuals are refundable if notice is received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. [All deposits shall be charged at the time the reservation is made.] SMOKE FREE POLICY In alignment with all Westin Hotels, the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center is a smoke free hotel. The hotel is smoke free in all areas: lobby, guest rooms, restaurant, lounge, meeting and banquet facilities. Restaurants on property that are not operated by Westin may not participate in the smoke free policy. Guests are also requested to avoid lighting incense sticks or camphor in their rooms, as this will create smoke and trip the fire alarm. To protect the smoke free environment, the Hotel will post a $200 cleaning fee to the account of any guests who smokes in their hotel room. NOTE: The above information is a general guideline and does not replace the hotel's policies and procedures.
