Each reaction which arises from us causes a delay in attaining the goal. Whereas acceptance will cause the Grace to flow without any break.
One should not brood over the past but should start on the spiritual path in earnest when real detachment comes. Whatever mistakes you have committed in the past owing to ignorance will be pardoned. But once you come to the right from the wrong you should try your best to refrain from mistakes in the future. Understand the nature of life and act wisely without falling apart when obstacles arise or getting too overjoyed in favorable circumstances. Do not try to run away from problems; that will only give them more strength to overcome you. Human beings, who are supposed to control the objects, are now control by them. This is the cause of all our problems. There is no meaning in thinking about the past. Whatever is done is done. What is important is the present, because your future depends on how you face the present. Any action with the right attitude, understanding and discrimination, will take you to liberation. |
