Guru & Devotion
The Guru’s must be listened to with a great attention and devotion. Next comes discrimination & reflection followed by application in one’s own life.
Once you accept a perfect soul as your Guru, stop wandering, both mentally and physically. Stay with the Guru, surrender to Him or Her. That is what is needed.
Attachment to the Guru will withdraw the mind from all the worldly thought and objects.
One who has faith will not ask any questions of the Guru. He will obey Guru’s words implicitly.
…That is service to the Guru. Devotion, faith and obedience are what is needed.
Children, eat to live, sleep to awaken.
Behind every good cause, you will find somebody who has renounced everything and dedicated his or her life to it ….
Mother is very desirous to see Her children crying to God. That is how you can make Mother happy.
Surrendering to a real Master is surrendering to the whole of existence.
Innocence will arise if one travels on the path of devotion.
The path of Devotion teaches love. First, you develop one-pointed love towards God. When that love becomes the center of your life and as the devotional practices become more and more intense, your vision changes….
One should have reverential devotion for the Guru. Moreover, one should have a close relationship with the Guru and feel that the guru is one’s own.
We must have an attitude of total surrender to the Guru for our spiritual advancement.
A master is like the radiant sun that makes the lotus of our heart blossom. There is no question of forces…
…His infinitely loving and compassionate presence has the power to melt the rock of ego. The ego melts and flow of supreme love is created. The master is not doing any thing.
If we do sadhana according to the Guru’s advice, we need not go anywhere else. We will get whatever we need from the Guru.
God and Guru are the same .Out of sheer compassion and love the formless supreme Principle assume a form. That form is the Guru.
Only a Jivanmukta, a self realized master can awaken the divinity within you..
He is the blazing lamp that can kindle as many unlit lamps as he wants, and yet he remains ever perfect and complete.
A Satguru lives in the world with the selfless intention of leading others out of the dark…
..Through his words and deeds, he constantly sets an example for his disciples to follow. He is a living witness to all the sacred scriptures of the world.
A true Master scarifies His life for the upliftment of his disciple, devotees and the entire society….
… But there also has to be a certain amount of commitment from the other end. Be patient and you will receive everything from the true Master.
A true Master is a presence, the presence of Divine Consciousness. He does nothing. In His presence, everything just happens without any effort on his part…
.. There can only be efforts where there is ego. A true Master is ego less.
The Guru will come to the seeker. There is no need to wander in search of Him, but the seeker should have intense dispassion for the world.
Grace is a strange phenomenon. One cannot say when, where or how it will come. Therefore, in order to attain the Grace, cry and pray, hold on to the feet of the Guru no matter what happens.
Even though God is all pervading, a Guru’s presence is unique. Even though the wind blows everywhere, we enjoy coolness only under the shade of a tree.
A Guru is necessary for those of us who live in the scorching heat of worldly existence. The Guru’s presence will give us peace and tranquility.
Although the Sage burns away His life in selfless action, like an incense stick which gives its fragrance to others at the cost of its own existence, He feels immense happiness in spreading love and peace to all of society.
Such Sages are not meant for only one individual, class, creed or sect.
They are meant for the whole world, for entire human race.
Don’t waste time given by God. Take refuge in the Universal Mother. Only Mother will love us selflessly…
