God & Truth

If Mother’s words and deeds are contemplated, not a single scripture need be studied.

God instructs, prescribes, warns and reminds. He speaks through the scriptures and Mahatamas. Sometimes from within and other times through experience.

Never forget God. Never forget your real source. Never move away from the real center in you.

If you are only interested in achieving momentary happiness, then the path to the world is open to you. This too needs effort, but not as much as what is needed to attain God.

Man evolves into God. Every human being is essentially God. Evolution from man to God is a slow process. It requires a lot of cutting, polishing and re-molding. It needs a lot of work and requires immense patience. It cannot be done in a hurry. Revolution is fast but it kills and destroys. Man is revolutionary, God is evolutionary.

There is a child within everyone. The innocence and playfulness of a child exists in all human beings. Innocence is within you, hidden deep inside. You have to rediscover it. When you dive within into your own consciousness you will realize this innocence one day. At that moment, you will discover the child within you. That childlike innocence deep within you is God.

…You experience that everything is a part of you, nothing is separate. To go beyond the ego is to become one with the universe. You become as expensive as the universe.

….It is the realization that God alone, the Self alone, is the real wealth. Spirituality is the wealth that helps us have a healthy approach to life. Only then will you realize your identity with Supreme Consciousness.

A seed must be buried in the soil for its real form as a plant to emerge. Only through modest and humility can we grow ….

See God or the Pure Essence in the everything and everybody and not the demon in them. If you see the demon in others, the very same negative forces will swallow you up and you yourself will become a demon in the end.

Everything is pervaded by consciousness. It is that consciousness which sustains the world and all the beings in it.

The experience of oneness with the inner Truth is the goal of all religions. There is only one Atman. It is all-pervasive. When we become broad minded, we can merge with it.…..Then, selfishness and ego will not be there. Everything is equal.

The same consciousness that flows in and through every human being lends its power to the movement of the wind, to the flow of the river and to the light of the sun. The entire world will become our family once we realize our oneness with the universal power. Once we realize this truth, the entire universe becomes our own abode. All of creation becomes our own.

Just as the tree is contained in the seed, and butter pervades in the milk, God dwells in everything. God is all-pervading, omniscient and omnipotent. All that we see is God. We should love God for God’s sake, for devotion alone…We should love God selflessly. We should have pure devotion, loving for love’s own sake without having any worldly desires.

The great masters of all religions equivocally proclaim that there is a changeless substratum underlying this ever-changing world…. It is through the realization of the Truth that immortality is attained. This is the ultimate purpose of life. The life force that pulsates in the trees, plants and animals is the same life force that pulsates within us …. The same life energy that gives us power to speak and to sing, is the power behind the song of the bird and the roar of the lion. A sincere seeker or a true believer cannot harm nature because he or she sees nature as God. He doesn’t experience nature as separate from himself. He is the lover of nature. The Earth, trees, plants and animals are all manifestations of God. We should love them as we love our own self. God-realization and self-realization are one and the same. God-realization is nothing but the ability and expansiveness of the heart to love everything equally.

A perfect soul knows that everything that happens is just a play of consciousness. Amma sees everything as part of the whole, as an extension of Her own self….. …Once a experience everything as part of our self, how is it possible to ignore anything?. As I perceive everything to be the Truth, that is, the self, I adore the Truth in everything. …I bow down to my Self. I serve my Self in everything.

Man is not different from nature. He is a part of nature. As a man’s intellect and scientific knowledge grow, he should not forget the feelings of his heart, which enable him to live in accordance with nature and her fundamental laws. Real life is developed from within. Real living means that the soul expresses itself through one’s thoughts, words and actions. A person becomes fearless once he understands the nature of imperishable soul. We have nothing to loose by trusting the infinite power of the Self, except the bondage of our own ignorance.

All uncertainty should die. Complete faith means liberation. One with complete faith is a liberated being. …Faith is to believe something that you feel. That something is not visible or tangible, it is an experience. That experience is personal and subjective.

One who seeks the truth shouldn’t demand anything. He should not ask for comfort or pleasure. A sadhak should feel content with whatever comes to him. There is no shortcut for the vision of God. You don’t have to be a scholar to worship Him or to call out to Him. Just call out. But let the call come from your heart. …Such a person will not have to wait long for the vision of God.

Children, even if we lose a million dollars we can recover it. If we lose one second, we cannot get it back. Every moment that we are not remembering God is lost to us.

Devotion rooted in the essential principle is to take refuge in one God who manifests as the All, with selfless love and without thinking that there are many Gods. Devotion devoid of the essential principle cannot lead us to liberation. It will only be another cause of bondage for man. The believer in God who perform worship conserves energy through concentration, and there by purifies himself and his surroundings.

Children, who are our true mother and father? Are they the ones we see? Never. They are only our step-mother and step-father. The true mother and father is the one who is capable of bringing back life the dying man, and that is God. This should be remembered always.

Whatever binds us most, whatever is dearest to us, that is what we should offer to Lord.

“…You come to understand that God dwells as Pure Consciousness in all beings, including you.”
